Gunskirchen, 1. Februar 2022 – Elias Bacher, part of the Bacher Snowcross Racing Team, from Bramberg am Wildkogel won the first race of the CEST (Central European Snowcross Trophy) with his Lynx snowmobile this weekend. He left all the others behind and finished first in the "Elite" class. Second place on the day's standings went to reigning Italian snowcross champion Federico Amadei. Bacher's teammate Kevin Empl also took the win and won the battle for first place in the "Amateur" class.

The second stop of the CEST will be a home race for Bacher and Empl. The next race will take place on February 26 in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. The last two stages are then in Formazza (March 5 and 6) and Livigno (March 19 and 20) in Italy.
