Technical apprentice competition of sparte.industrie at BRP-Rotax

On April 17th, the nationwide apprenticeship competition for electrical and metal professions of the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber, sparte.industrie, took place.

At BRP-Rotax, 22 vocational students in their second year of training, 20 of them BRP-Rotax apprentices, showed their skills.

Participation in the competition was voluntary – an offer that BRP-Rotax apprentices gladly took advantage of. For them, the event was an important indicator for comparing their own level of knowledge with others and for preparing themselves perfectly for their apprenticeship graduation.

In addition to the technical proof of performance, the safety and health of the young people were the top priority. To this end, BRP-Rotax relied on a comprehensive safety and hygiene concept to protect the participants.

“The competition is a special opportunity for our apprentices to show what they have learned during their apprenticeship”, says Werner Lehner, head of the apprentice workshop. “We are proud to be one of the leading training companies in the region, once again hosting this important competition!”
