For its technology-filled summer vacation program, BRP-Rotax received a certificate for a family- and employee-friendly corporate culture as part of the "Felix Familia" State Family Award 2022. At BRP-Rotax, the children of the employees experience interesting and exciting weeks during the vacation care, in which they discover natural sciences as well as technology and immerse themselves in the exciting world of BRP-Rotax.

Thrilling excursions to Hörsching Airport or the Schmieding Zoo were part of the program. But the focus was clearly on technology. As part of RIC2School – a NAWITECH workshop program especially for children – the young guests built and programmed "Milo, the space probe" with LEGO WeDo 2.0, for example. In addition, they operated a real robot ("MiR") and lasered their own keychain in the TECVan. In the apprentice workshop, the craftsmanship continued: soldering and filing, controlling a collaborative robot or exciting races on the kart simulator were further highlights.

With this vacation program for employees' children, BRP-Rotax supports the compatibility of family and work, which is the focus of the Felix Familia State Family Award.
