In Neukirchen am Großvenediger snowmobile action was the order of the day. It was the second race of the CEST (Central Europe Snowcross Trophy). The overall winner on this day was Elias Bacher from Bramberg am Wildkogel. It wasn't all that easy: the warm temperatures made the demanding course a real challenge.

However, on his Lynx snowmobile with Rotax drive system, Bacher was able to prevail there against the 32 snowmobile drivers from five nations and won all three runs. He thus took the lead ahead of the two Italians Federico Amadei (CEST Champion 2022) and Marco Galli in the overall standings of the CEST 2023.

The CEST continues on March 4 and 5 with the third race of the CEST taking place in Livigno, Italy.

After that, Elias Bacher will head to the far north for the Snowcross Super League as well as the Snowcross World Championships in Scandinavia to finish the season.
