BRP-Rotax jubilee celebration - A great festival in the truest sense of the word
Gunskirchen, 16th September 2018 – This year’s jubilee celebration was a festival in the truest sense of the word – from a champagne reception to a joint conclusion of the evening with other employees, their families and children, who visited the BRP-Rotax Oktoberfest, was a huge success.
The first guests were already welcomed at 8.30 AM with a glass of champagne and fine appetizers, while listening to the Austrian band “Junge Paldauer” which got the visitors in the mood.
At 9.30 AM Marie Lang – Sports presenter and journalist – entered the stage. With her refreshing character, she ensured the right Kick-off and interviewed the management as well as the work council. Afterwards, she got the jubilees on the stage and presented their careers in the company while showing pictures of them on the big photo wall and their families listening in the audience.
Thomas Uhr presented WKO-certificates and gold coins – depending on the amount of time they worked for the company, they received the appropriate number of these valuable coins - to the jubilees and congratulated them. Further, the work council handed over presents of the Arbeiterkammer to them. Afterwards, they continued with group pictures, to capture this special moment forever.
In total, 52 of our colleagues were honoured for their 25, 35, 40 and 45 years of service – for their engagement, efforts, knowledge and unbelievable team spirit.
DI Thomas Uhr, General Manager BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG and Vice-President Powertrain BRP and R&D/Operations Lynx: “We are very grateful to our employees because they are the engine for our innovations. Technologies are changing rapidly but their efforts are constant and their teamspirits are increasing every year, leaving marks on our company and unite us. This consistency of their commitment is the foundation of the success story we all write together.”
The celebration was part of the BRP-Rotax Oktoberfest, which changed into an event for all employees afterwards – with pretzels, beer and regional specialities. This led to a celebration of all colleagues, not only the people who celebrated their anniversaries.
