At this year's Industrie 4.0 Hackathon at the Tabakfabrik Linz, BRP-Rotax was one of the four corporate partners who challenged 19 teams from 10 different countries with their tasks.

BRP-Rotax's task to counterparties was to identify countless structured and unstructured data, measurements, and process and quality data from the plasma coating equipment, commonalities, and correlations to potentially shed light on process stability and process quality.

An interdisciplinary team from IS/IT, ShopFloor IT and Innovation Management as Rotax delegation were responsible for answering the questions of the participants. In addition to very interesting discussions with the participating teams, there was also a lively exchange of experience with the other partners from the industry.

The event held at the Factory300 was a complete success, with exciting results and a good look into the future of digitization.
