As announced on October 21, 2022, BRP-Rotax has been conducting a thorough investigation to determine the source of the Rotax engine allegedly used in a Mohajer-6 drone recently downed by Ukrainian forces.

We have made substantial progress in our investigation. We confirm that, with the collaboration of a partner in Ukraine and the assistance of local authorities, we have identified the engine found in the downed Mohajer-6 drone. This has enabled us to partially retrace the distribution circuit.

The investigation has also confirmed that the engine was not sold by any of our distributors to Iran or to Russia, and that BRP-Rotax acted in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

We have shared our findings with the competent authorities and are in contact with them for any additional support they may need as they continue their own investigation.
