Our 'Youngsters' are here: 16 new apprentices are starting into the future

Gunskirchen, September 3rd, 2018 – Today our 16 new technical apprentices started their training with us, 3 of them are technicians. It is the first step in their career and we look forward to doing it with them.

Welcome to the team!

The new apprentices are highly motivated and full of zest for action. They look forward to their training and new tasks. The youngsters will work in the fields of aircraft, metal, process and automotive engineering as well as mechatronics and will accompany and advance us on our way as international market leader for innovative drive systems for power sports vehicles.

The BRP-Rotax trainee workshop, in which they complete part of their apprenticeship, is equipped at the highest level, technologically most modern and offers them the optimal conditions for a successful start into the future: They learn what they need, take part in technical courses, excursions and trainings, are part of the team and can contribute their ideas.

In addition to regular training, they also complete special apprenticeship plus modules, which focus on their personal development: outdoor trainings, apprentice exchange programmes with partner companies at home and abroad, labour law training, first-aid training, driving safety training and much more.

They finish their apprenticeship with an English Matura; if the apprentices want to combine it with the general qualification for university entrance, we are happy to support them.

Thomas Uhr, General Manager BRP-Rotax, Vice President Powertrain BRP and R&D/Operations Lynx: "With us, apprentices have the best conditions for their career – they are part of the Rotax team!”
