Peintal, Austria, Mai 14, 2022 – A perfectly organized day with sunshine, catering and a varied program awaited the approximately 1,200 visitors at the season opening last Saturday in Vorchdorf. The area around the museum had a lot to offer: in addition to Rotax, dealers such as PSF and BMW as well as some motorsport clubs were represented. Special vehicles, such as a road-ready Puch from 1906, were presented to the public and also the winning vehicle of the Dakar Rally, the Can-Am Maverick X3, could be admired. Last but not least, the Vorchdorf museum halls invited numerous visitors:inside on a tour.

Rotax special exhibition:

Michael Gumpesberger, Manager Development Operations BRP-Rotax, gave a short speech introducing the history of Rotax: from the beginnings of the Rotax brand in 1920 to the current importance of the company with its 1,700 employees and its globally recognized drive systems. He then opened the Rotax exhibition integrated in the museum.
