On July 28^th and 29^th, 2018 the other races of the German Electro-Kart Championship (DEKM) with the high-performance racing eKart Rotax THUNDeR took place on the kart track in Kerpen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The Rotax THUNDeR showed its best side in both sudden heavy rainfall and extremely hot temperatures, proving to be a milestone in electric racing and the logical next step into the future.

As at the last race at Oschersleben, 17 drivers aged between 15 and 16 took part in this year's race, giving their full throttle on the 1,107-metre-long traditional race track under the motto "Race like never before", but in an electrifying manner.

Sven Müller (Porsche factory driver) and Martin Westerhoff (Auto Bild Motorsport) were two additional guest entrants in the races.

The races were exciting and full of highlights for everyone involved, both the pilots and the numerous spectators. We congratulate the winners of the 6 races and all participants of the DEKM:
