At BRP-Rotax, employees' awareness of their shared social responsibility is strengthened through a wide range of CSR activities. One of these measures is the annual Rotax Earth Day, which focuses on a particular topic from the corporate CSR program.

This year's Rotax Earth Day is dedicated to "Saving Energy" and gives the opportunity to look at measures taken by the company to handle energy in a sustainable way. These include, for example, the use of green electricity, optimized heating control and ventilation systems, and energy recovery during engine test runs.

Ideas and suggestions implemented by employees are also seen as important factors. Last fall, for example, an internal idea contest was called for under the motto "Save Energy @ Rotax”. The echo was considerable: from simple solutions such as power distributors with toggle switches to crankshafts that are no longer preheated electrically but with remaining process heat, the variety of ideas submitted showed how important the topic of "saving energy in the company" is for employees.

In accordance with the topic, the Rotax CSR team thanked the employees with sustainable energy snacks on Rotax Earth Day.
