Record result in the apprentice shop - 5 years without any accident!

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, our BRP-Rotax apprentices and their instructors celebrated a special occasion: Five years without any accident! The safety of our employees is our top priority, which is why the entire company was enthusiastic about the five accident-free years in the apprentice shop. At the same time, we are very proud of our great apprentices. They are well trained so that they can work without any risk in the apprentice shop as well as in a wide variety of jobs within the company.

Under the motto “security concerns everyone of us”, we have taken measures to achieve this important goal. These include the safety siren in the apprentice shop, which opens the weekly meeting, where current safety issues are discussed. Additionally, the Safety RVVS (Rotax Improvement Suggestion System) is another measure, where our apprentices play a significant role. New ideas are constantly submitted and implemented in order to increase safety at the workplace.

Every year around 16 young people start an apprenticeship at BRP-Rotax. They are trained in six different teaching professions in an own training workshop, the RIC (Regional Innovation Centre):

  • Automotive technician (main module motorcycle technology)
  • Aircraft technician
  • Metal technician (main module mechanical engineering)
  • Metal technician (main module machining technology)
  • Mechatronics engineer
  • Process technician
