BRP-Rotax supported the project "Werkunterricht neu" (Manuel Training NEW), which was initiated by the Federation of Upper Austrian Industries and the State Superintendent of AHS (secondary academic schools), Günther Vormayr, in order to create enthusiasm among children and young people early on for technology and natural sciences.

In the current school year pupils of our partnerschool AHS Kreuzschwestern Linz were taught basic skills and basic knowledge in technology, materials science and manufacturing technology at the BRP Rotax apprenticeshop. In the course of three excursions at BRP-Rotax the pupils and their teachers met hardfacts on materials and manufacturing technology, worked hands-on at the apprenticeshop and gained an initial insight into technical professions.
