Lynx HySnow at the 44th International Motor Symposium in the Vienna Hofburg Palace

This year's Motor Symposium in Vienna focused on the energy debate and the diversity of drive systems. More than 1,000 participants from more than 25 countries presented a wide range of technological and strategic news from the automotive industry.

By 2026, every BRP-Rotax product line will have a product with an electric motor. Research is also being conducted at BRP-Rotax on other, innovative drive systems.After four and a half years of research and development, BRP-Rotax 2020 presented the Lynx HySnow concept vehicle to the public. The HySnow project was funded by the Climate and Energy Fund and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency mbH (FFG) as part of the "Lighthouses of E-Mobility" program. And took place in cooperation with HyCentA Research GmbH, Fronius Austria, Graz University of Technology, the Hinterstoder and Wurzeralm ski resorts, as well as ElringKlinger AG and ECuSol GmbH.
The Lynx HySnow project was awarded the 12th EL-MOTION Electromobility Congress Mobility Prize (EL-MO) 2022, making it the most innovative Austrian project in the field of e-mobility and CO2 reduction.
