Conversations and business competence at the fireplace
Our General Manager – up close and personal. Setting up a business oneself. Experiencing economy closely. This was the motto at the BRP-outdoor training for third year apprentices.
14 technical BRP-Rotax apprentices spent three days at the BWZ Steyregg to attend an outdoor training dealing with economic topics. The goal is to make the young people familiar with the most important economic terms, the company culture at BRP-Rotax, the basics of budget preparation as well as the stumbling stones in communication.
However, instead of studying boring theory, the apprentices were taught these topics in form of an outdoor-business game. In line with this concept, DI Thomas Uhr, Vice-President BRP-Powertrain und General Manager BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG, answered their questions at the fireplace.
“Mr. Uhr answered our questions very well and tested our knowledge after our presentations. He talked openly about his private life and his career”, emphasizes Oliver Sieberer. Peter Hubner thinks that the conversation was interesting and relevant for the future of the apprentices. David Jevtic mentions that Thomas Uhr „is very nice and open as private person“. Michael Voraberger adds, “He has answered many questions, which nobody else would have been able to answer in that way.”
