Girlspower at the BRP-Rotax apprenticeshop

20 girls who took part in this year's Girls Day experienced an exciting and eventful day at the BRP-Rotax trainee workshop. The young girls of the NMS Gunskirchen, NMS Attnang, NMS Neumarkt-Kallheim, NMS Ottenheim, NMS Eferding Nord, NMS Andorf und Franziskusschule Ried im Innkreis were enthusiastic and with noticeable pleasure.
At different stations they could make their own workpiece, explore different techniques and the latest technologies. It was a great day with many insights into the world of our BRP-Rotax apprentices. The successful workpiece created on this day will often remind the participants of their visit to the BRP-Rotax training workshop.
BRP-Rotax especially wants to inspire young girls for technology. With special programmes, we were able to increase the proportion of female apprentices to 25%. BRP-Rotax opens new perspectives for young talents with enthusiasm and inventiveness for their professional future in power sports.
At BRP-Rotax, apprentices receive a practice-oriented vocational training in the following areas:
- Automotive technician (main module motorcycle technology)
- Aircraft technician
- Metal technician (main module mechanical engineering)
- Metal technician (main module machining technology)
- Mechatronics engineer
- Process technician
The BRP-Rotax apprentice shop, where they will complete a part of their apprenticeship, is at a high level and provides the optimal conditions for a successful start into the future. In addition to their regular training, they will participate in specialized courses, excursions and trainings and do some special LehrePlus-modules where the focus is on their personal development. Also, they will complete their apprenticeship with A-levels in English; if they want to combine it with the whole A-levels, they will gladly get support from the company.
