Driving pleasure and a unique panorama

The absolute highlight of the Spyder Grossglockner Challenge is the trip on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße. Approximately 300 Can-Am Spyder riders from Russia, Turkey, Finland, Germany and Austria enjoyed the "ascent" on the Grossglockner this year - despite a not ideal Spyder weather. The 48 km long Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße follows the natural contour of the mountain. The 36 bends are not only a challenge for the driving skills, but also offer the drivers always changing views in the unique landscape of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

"Skills, driving pleasure and perseverance are required alike when driving on the famous Alpine panorama road. I am pleased that our guests from all over Europe have mastered the Spyder Grossglockner Challenge with enthusiasm, "says DI Thomas Uhr, VP BRP-Powertrain and General Manager BRP-Powertrain GmbH & Co KG. At an altitude of 2,540 meters, the Spyder enthusiasts enjoyed the unique view of the high-alpine landscape with its 30 three thousanders.
