Exchange car keys for breakfast: BRP-Rotax employees set an example for climate-friendly mobility

As part of the "European Mobility Week", BRP-Rotax once again took action for climate protection. On the "Car Free Day", many employees again consciously decided not to use their cars for their commute to work. As a thank you, the CSR team gave them a breakfast and the good feeling of setting a joint example for climate-friendly mobility.
The "Car Free Day" has been a tradition at BRP-Rotax for many years. On September 23, the time had come again: 135 employees followed the company's call and came to work by bicycle, public transport, in carpools or on foot. In total, 5.317 car kilometers were saved. The distance record was achieved by an employee who covered 90 kilometers by bicycle.
The CSR team of BRP-Rotax welcomed the participants with a breakfast bag filled with healthy, regional snacks and a bicycle repair kit.
European Mobility Week was launched back in 2002 by the European Commission to protect the environment and health. For BRP-Rotax, participation in the initiative is an important fixed point to set an example for climate protection together with the employees.
Environmental protection and social responsibility firmly anchored in CSR strategy
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), as a group-wide program of BRP, is closely linked to the corporate goals of the subsidiary BRP-Rotax. In it, BRP pursues the ambitious goal of leading the industry with social responsibility and actively shaping a better future for employees, people in local communities, customers and stakeholders. In addition to environmental protection and social responsibility, compliance with high ethical standards and sustainable corporate governance are key areas of action in the program.
