Gunskirchen, September 30, 2019 - The RIC (Regional Innovation Center) GmbH also promotes digital skills in apprenticeships and finances the "Digital Classroom" this year: All 21 technical apprentices who began their apprenticeship at BRP-Rotax in September became equipped with personalized tablets.

On the tablets, the young people can independently manage their company e-mail account, use calendar functions and view weekly reviews. The tailor-made course program of the ROTAX Academy has also been set up: Courses are booked by the apprentices directly on the tablets and also completed digitally. Access to the training platform and the textbooks are now also available digitally.

In the future, all new apprentices will be equipped with their own tablets in order to use new technical possibilities, to promote personal responsibility and to accelerate the digital skills of young people.
