In August we introduced a childcare program for the first time during summer holidays, which was successful from day one: A total of 37 children of our employees aged between 4 and 14 years were looked after at the RIC.

Together with three supervisors they experienced a full and great program in the premises of TEC2Move and McTech: handicraft work, running, movement, community and skill games etc. They even made trips to the zoo in Schmiding, the organic farm Fuchsberger or the Welios in Wels. A special highlight was when the children visited their parent’s workplaces and were able to see everything there. They collected, depending on age and area, already the first encounters with the latest technology.

The decision to provide company childcare was a matter of course for us, because reconciling work and family life is of central importance. Our employees could register their children without any restriction for full-day or morning care, which is also an important decision-making support for new colleagues.

The childcare hours were coordinated with the times when the public kindergarten, the community kindergarten and the after-school care in Gunskirchen were not open all the time, lunch was provided in the company canteen – it’s a breeze!
