Successful training and further education against the shortage of skilled workers in the region: In March, the ROTAX Academy in Gunskirchen (Upper Austria) was awarded the renowned EBQS certificate for the highest quality for the third time in a row. The educational unit of RIC (Regionales Innovations Centrum) GmbH offers companies and private individuals customized course programs and demand-oriented training in the technical field.

Top grade! – is the current result of the auditors of the adult education forum Upper Austria. Already for the third time, the ROTAX Academy of the RIC (Regionales Innovations Centrum) GmbH (short: RIC) was distinguished for the highest quality in the adult education with the EB-Qualitätssiegel.

The EB-Qualitätssiegel (EBQS) of the Institute for Vocational and Adult Education of the JKU Linz and the Erwachsenenbildungs-Forum Upper Austria is a decisive quality benchmark for Upper Austrian educational institutions. In a multi-stage procedure, the process and quality management of the education provider is evaluated in addition to course offerings, equipment and communication.

Practical knowledge transfer and competence building in the region

The ROTAX Academy in Gunskirchen offers companies and private individuals a first-class range of training and continuing education courses in the fields of technology, mobility, automation, digitization and robotics. Theoretical knowledge and practical know-how are imparted in tailored course programs and demand-oriented training, regardless of the level of education.

The ROTAX Academy was first certified with the EBQS in 2016. Since its founding in 2015, the range of courses offered by the RIC's educational unit has constantly evolved to successfully meet the diverse technological challenges of the future. "With our always up-to-date offering, we keep our finger on the pulse and meet current challenges such as the shortage of skilled workers and digitalization. From basic courses for apprentices to training for state-of-the-art collaborative robotics, companies, as well as individuals, have the opportunity to update their knowledge to the latest state of the art," says Valentina Milicevic, educational coordinator of the ROTAX Academy.
