The in-house fire department of BRP-Rotax is pleased with a brand new Can-Am Defender HD10. The vehicle was adapted according to the needs of the in-house fire department by the apprentices of BRP-Rotax in cooperation with Rosenbauer.

Until the end of the year the Can-Am Defender HD10 is extensively tested at BRP-Rotax and developed further based on the findings.

The special vehicle - also called KRAD2 - is equipped with a Rosenbauer FOX portable fire pump, a blue light signal and a siren. Due to the extremely tight turning circle and its off-road capability, the emergency task force can be rapidly on site. The FOX portable fire pump with the Rotax 900 ACE engine and several hoses can be set up quickly and so in the case of an emergency a very fast, "Let the water flow" is possible.

To the interested expert audience the successful joint project is first introduced at the fair "Retter" in Wels.
