BRP-Rotax Childcare: With a varied vacation program through summer

The compatibility of work and childcare is a real challenge for many parents, especially during the summer months. This year, BRP-Rotax is once again supporting its employees with its own company vacation care service.
These are very special carpools that arrive at the BRP-Rotax company parking lot these days. Employees and their children are getting out of the cars. And while some go to work, the others look forward to an eventful day full of excitement and good humor.
Already for the 3rd time BRP-Rotax organizes together with its subsidiary RIC a company day care. The employees gladly accept the offer. What's more: due to the lively interest, the program was extended to three weeks this year. A total of 45 children between the ages of 4 and 12 are guests at the company. BRP-Rotax covers the majority of the costs for the day care.
Variety is the highlight
At the BRP-Rotax day care, children are looked after all day by pedagogues from the RIC and the Familienbund OÖ. The program is varied: the schedule includes excursions to the zoo, to the Welios Science Center or to the farm school.
Of course, everything to do with Rotax is particularly interesting for the young guests: In the RIC2School workshop, for example, the kids build their own Can-Am Maverick with electric drive. And during a visit to the training workshop, they can laser cut a key fob. Action-packed rides in the kart simulator are also part of the program, of course. At lunchtime, the kids – just like mom and dad – enjoy their meal in the company restaurant, and to ensure that everyone really does enjoy it, there are special children's menus.
Company day care as an important CSR measure
However, the company day care is not only a great offer for the children and their parents. BRP-Rotax also fulfills its social responsibility with it, which is anchored in the company's own CSR program as a central field of action. "The decision to offer company day care is a matter of course for us, as the reconciliation of work and family is essential.", says Wolfgang Rapberger, GM BRP-Rotax, Representative of the Management Board, VP Global Sourcing & Operations Powertrain. The company plans to continue the childcare offer in the coming year.
