BRP-Rotax makes good figure on the Viennese dance floor
On January 16, 2016 the 115th Ball der Oberoesterreicher (ball of Upper Austrians) took place at the Austria Center in Vienna under the motto "Wels-Land: buzzing center of Upper Austria". BRP-Rotax, one of the largest employers in the central region, provided the right rotational speed and the necessary adrenaline. In the course of the ceremony, Thomas Uhr, Vice-President BRP-Powertrain and General Manager BRP-Powertrain GmbH & Co. KG, personally chauffeured Governor Dr. Josef Pühringer with the Can-Am Spyder F3 in the ballroom. The Governor also took this opportunity to let himself be photographed on the handlebars of this innovative vehicle with the Rotax engine from Gunskirchen. So, the Spyder F3 on exhibition at the entrance to the grand ballroom was one of the most popular photo opportunities for the visitors on this evening.
The Ball der Oberoesterreicher is the largest ball with traditional costumes in Austria and one of the most frequented ball events in the Austrian capital Vienna.
