Gunskirchen, 26. März 2023 – Last Sunday afternoon, around 50 motivated and enthusiastic employees of the Rotax running team took part in the 30th Wels Half Marathon. After last year's virtual run, the participants were finally able to take to the starting line again in perfect weather conditions. It was a special day for all runners who had been preparing for the event for months. The Rotax team has been an integral part of the Wels Half Marathon since 2007. BRP-Rotax supports the participants in their preparation in the company's own health and fitness centre "doo it". Here, employees can train all year round and have individual training plans put together. The goal is to motivate employees to lead an active and healthy life.

In addition to the joy and challenge of competing with others in a friendly manner and surpassing oneself through top performance, the focus of this run was not only on the sporting aspect, but also on growing together as a community.  

BRP-Rotax would like to congratulate especially Marcel Weixler, overall winner of the jubilee race in men, Ivan Matesic, the winner of the men's world ranking over the half marathon distance and Franz Josef Fellner, who achieved the best time in men Ü65 in the jubilee race.

We also congratulate all the other BRP-Rotax runners on their great performances at the 2023 Wels Half Marathon and hope that the Rotax team will continue to actively participate in such events in the future.
