BRP-Rotax donates to aid organizations in Upper Austria

Social responsibility is firmly anchored in the corporate culture of BRP and its subsidiary BRP-Rotax. The local commitment of the Gunskirchen-based company is of particular importance. Therefore, three charitable organizations were again financially supported recently. The money donated will benefit care and counseling services for people in Upper Austria.

Actively shaping a better future for local people. This goal is firmly anchored in BRP-Rotax's CSR strategy as a central field of action. In addition to a variety of actions that are continuously set together with the employees, the company also financially supports projects and facilities for charitable purposes.

In July, Managing Director Peter Ölsinger, GM BRP-Rotax / Member of the Management Board, VP Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications, handed over a donation check to the Managing Director of the OÖ Tafel, Erwin Hehenberger. The association in Wels helps people in need with daily meals, cheap food as well as clothing and offers space for communication and social contacts.

At the beginning of August, the Managing Director of the Upper Austrian Family Federation, Ana Aigner was a guest at BRP-Rotax. She accepted a donation check from Managing Director Wolfgang Rapberger, GM BRP-Rotax / Representative of the Management Board, VP Global Sourcing & Operations Powertrain. The Upper Austrian Family Association supports families, communities and companies with a wide range of support and consulting services to help them reconcile family and career.

Managing Director Peter Ölsinger presented a donation check to Daniela Schindler, Managing Director of the TANDEM Child Protection Center in Wels, at the end of August. The help center for young people has been offering counseling and psychotherapy for child protection-related and family problems and crises for more than 30 years.

"I am very pleased that we can support the great work of Upper Austrian aid organizations. Two of the three organizations we donated to this year specifically support children and young people. This is an important task that is particularly close to our hearts," says Peter Ölsinger.

Wolfgang Rapberger sums up BRP-Rotax's social commitment: "Our social responsibility goes beyond the boundaries of the company. We not only make sure that our employees are doing well, but also that local people are doing well. That's why we strongly support organizations that improve the quality of life in local communities!"
