BRP-Rotax donates another 3,000 euros to Wings for Life

Wings for Life is a non-profit, state-approved foundation for spinal cord research. It was founded by the two-time Motocross World Champion Heinz Kinigadner, whose son Hannes suffered a serious accident in 2003, which resulted in a high paraplegia. Since then, the foundation supports international research projects with the aim of finding a cure for traumatic paraplegia.
The partnership between BRP-Rotax and Wings for Life began in 2017 at the Rotax THUNDeR presentation at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. A charity race was held here, also the first donation was presented. Further donations followed as a part of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2017, bringing together a total of 11,200 euros.
In 2018, the partnership was maintained as the concerns of the foundation are important to us. Therefore, BRP-Rotax CEOs Peter Ölsinger and Jean-Francois Lambert handed over 3,000 euros during a visit by Heinz Kinigadner, his son Hannes Kinigadner and Wolfgang Illek to continue to give wings to the foundation’s work.
The BRP-Rotax management was pleased to receive the award Wings for Life “Bronze Partner 2017 – 2019” and thanked them cordially.
