In the light and ultralight aircraft segment, Rotax engines installed in aircraft have an 80 % market share. During the AERO in Friedrichshafen, one almost had the impression that it was a Rotax trade fair.

The brand new Rotax 915 iS aircraft engine was the highlight this year - whether in gyrocopters, 2-seaters or 4-seaters.

There was great interest in learning more about the Rotax 915 iS. The information sessions were very well received. In a 2-hour workshop, which took place four times during the AERO, interested parties received information on all Rotax aircraft engines.

At the AERO, BRP-Rotax also presented the 'Distributor of the Year 2017' award:
