BRP celebrates its 6 millionth ROTAX engine

Gunskirchen, Austria, April 28, 2006 - Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP) yesterday celebrated its six millionth Rotax engine to leave the assembly line. This 4-stroke 1500cc marine engine started a new era in the personal watercraft (PWC) market, when it was originally launched in 2001. It reflects BRP's constant strive for innovation and its ability to revolutionize over and over again the powersports industry with its products.

"Innovation, flexibility, vision and our highly qualified employees have made our success possible and brought us forward ever since Rotax started in 1920," says Yves Leduc, vice president and general manager of BRP-Rotax.
