Gunskirchen, Austria, April 13, 2006 - Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP) announced today that it will invest EUR 5M (approximately CDN $7M) in a new equipment for machining and assembly. This investment will create 50 additional jobs in Gunskirchen, Austria, therefore reaffirming the strategic importance of BRP-Rotax's Austrian plant within the BRP family.

Located in Upper Austria, BRP-Rotax is the largest company in the Wels-Land district where it currently employs over 1,000 people. In the past 50 years, the company has developed over 350 engine models and has produced more than 5 million engines.
