Geometric Verification/CMM Programming

- Geometrical data for the First Sample Verification of cast and forged parts are acquired by scanning the supplied parts, using optical scanners and computer tomographs.
- Concealed internal geometries detected during the scan with a computer tomograph can be integrated into the overall verification.
- The integration of serial verification into the CAx-process-chain has significantly boosted efficiency.
- An off-line measuring program is established immediately on completion of the 3D model, while the supplier simultaneously produces the parts.
- The Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) - Programming has substantially increased the level of use of CMMs for real measuring procedures.
